I have a footprint in which some clearances differ from others.

When I right-click a pad, I see the "solder mask clearance" is 0.3. However, the pad is using the global 0.1mm value.

Can I have per-pad values of clearance? If not, why can I allowed to set the value at all?

yes you can. put in anything but zero and that value will be used. the
reason that your example is showing .3 in stead of .1 is because you can
also set clearance for netnames as well in the Design Rules menu.

Hi,

Have you tried OpenGL canvas?

With the legacy canvas the solder mask is not shown (unless you plot the
gerber file).

My version works fine.

Regards,
Pedro.
