Post by myken ***@iae.nl [kicad-users]Post by ***@yahoo.fr [kicad-users]Hi all,
For several attempts, i did not get to import a dxf file.
I really don't know why kicad 4.0.7 does not want to display my dxf on
edges.cuts layer. Very annoying.
Is there someone who can help me.
Thanks in advance ...
I found that the DXF importer doesn't work well with curves. What I did
select the curve -> add new nodes (until you are fine with the
resolution) -> make selected segment lines.
I did that for every curve in my file, so basically the DXF file is made
with only straight lines (some very small).
And please check if you have double lines (on top of each other) in your
DXF file, the DXF importer gets confused and will not import.
Good luck,
Robert
