Hello all,

Rich,

Why would you want to do that?
How will you power your board if you delete the power planes?

Just curious,

Jean-Paul,
. . . . I use traces for power and ground. I'm not ready to use a GND or PWR plane. I have taken some one else's design, with their permission, and deleted everything. This is now my template. So how do I deleted the existing PWR and GND planes Delete won't work and the pop down menus don't contain any information on how to do this.

You have to select the zone by the edges, then context menu will show up
and delete will work. Can't select the zone by clicking in the middle of
it, must click on the edge of the zone!
