Hi,

Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

In the 3D viewer, the preferences like Choose Colors are set for the
application, not for the project.

If I send a project to other people, they will see the 3D rendering with
their own colors, not with the colors I see it in my computer. Right?

Yes, the colors are system-wide and stored in the settings file called "pcbnew" which resides in a system dependent location (e.g. on windows it might be in C:\Users\bob\AppData\Roaming\kicad)
