I running KiCad on a MacBook (macOS Sierra 10.12.6) with an external
display, using KiCad 4.0.7.
I'm following the tutorial KICAD LIKE A PRO and am stuck with the
Library Editor (creating a new module), because:
(a) the Library Editor window does not expand so there is only a tiny
space to work with.
(b) There does not seem to be a "Footprint Libraries Wizard" in the
Preferences menu.

Is this a known issue with macOS ??
I'm thinking that the menu for the Footprint Library Editor is not being
shown at all, and that the menu I'm seeing is the one for eeschema.
I don't seem to be able to close the footprint library editor window either.
Any ideas on how to progress here?
Thanks,
Brendan.
