I have been running Kicad ver4.0.6 for some time on a Windows 10 machine. Recently a problem developed whereby,after editing the 'edit component' value or reference, the save/close function causes Kicad to freeze. You have to save the sheet and reload it to get it working again.
I have performed a clean install of ver 4.0.7 but the problem still remains. I have installed 4.0.7 and the SAME shematic file on a second computer (Win 7 Pro) and this performs perfectly.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks John T
